Board of Trustees

The board of trustees has six representatives from cities, federal states and federal government, two from each administrative level, plus three representatives from the dance scene who are put forward by the Tanzförderung Stadt-Land-Bund (Dance Promotion Local-Regional-National) initiative group. The board’s tasks include discussing and confirming the funding guidelines, the appointment of the jury of experts and supporting the cultural-political implementation of the programme.

For the federal government

Caroline Waldeck, Head of Division K 27: Theatre, Dance, Performance for the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM)
Katarzyna Wielga-Skolimowska, Artistic Director of the German Federal Cultural Foundation

For the federal states

Markus Pitz, Senate Director Hamburg, Head of the Office of Culture
Eric Seng, Head of the Department of Arts and Culture, Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts

For the municipalities

Dr. Skadi Jennicke, Mayor and Councillor for Culture of the City of Leipzig
Apostolos Tsalastras, First Alderman, City Treasurer and Head of Cultural Affairs of the City of Oberhausen

For the dance scene

Nele Hertling, Director of the department of Performing Arts of the Academy of Arts Berlin
Madeline Ritter, Artistic and Executive Diector of Bureau Ritter gUG (formerly DIEHL+RITTER gUG), member of the Stadt-Land-Bund initiative
